Welcome to the Alton Bay Christian Retreat Center - A Ministry of the Alton Bay Campmeeting Association website. The Alton Bay Christian Retreat Center ("ABCRC," "we," "us," or "our") is a non-profit Christian organization and a ministry of the Alton Bay Campmeeting Association.

ABCRC is a Christian organization dedicated to providing a place for spiritual renewal and Christian fellowship. Our mission is foundational to all activities, content, and use of our facilities.

User Acknowledgment: By using the Service and/or our facilities, you acknowledge and agree that our ministry is governed by our Christian values and Statement of Faith (available upon request or on our website). We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse service, registration, or facility use, or to dismiss any individual or group whose conduct or stated beliefs are materially contrary to our Statement of Faith or Christian mission.

4. User Conduct and Code of Conduct

 

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, non-commercial, and ministry-related purposes.

  • Prohibited Activities: You agree not to:​​

  • On-Site Code of Conduct (Applies to Facility Guests): All guests, registrants, and groups using the Alton Bay Christian Retreat Center facilities agree to abide by the facility's specific Code of Conduct and policies, which may cover matters such as:​

    • Use of alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drugs (typically prohibited or restricted).

    • Quiet hours, use of recreational equipment, and proper care of facilities.

    • Policies regarding firearms, weapons, and open flames.

    • Policies for the supervision of minors.

    • Violation of the On-Site Code of Conduct may result in immediate dismissal from the premises without a refund.

  • Respectful and appropriate behavior consistent with a Christian environment.

5. Reservations, Payments, and Cancellations

 

These terms apply to all registrations, reservations, and donations made through the Service:

  • Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate registration, reservation, and payment information for all transactions and registrations.

  • Financial Transactions: All payments for reservations, events, and donations are processed through secure, third-party payment processors. We are not responsible for any fees or actions taken by these third-party processors.

  • Cancellation and Refund Policy: Specific cancellation and refund policies for events, retreats, and lodging are detailed on the respective registration forms and reservation contracts. By completing a transaction, you agree to the terms of the applicable cancellation and refund policy.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

 

The Service and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio) are owned by the Alton Bay Christian Retreat Center, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Alton Bay Christian Retreat Center, the Alton Bay Campmeeting Association, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms of Use or your use of the Service, including, but not limited to, your User Contributions, any use of the Service's content, products, and services other than as expressly authorized in these Terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

 

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire (NH), without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these Terms or the Service shall be instituted exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Belknap County, New Hampshire (NH), although we retain the right to bring any suit, action, or proceeding against you for breach of these Terms in your country of residence or any other relevant country. You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.
