During our vibrant summer season from June 29th through Labor Day, the Alton Bay Christian Retreat Center comes alive with opportunities to worship, grow in faith, and enjoy meaningful fellowship with other believers.
Each Sunday morning, guests gather in our historic 600-seat Tabernacle for uplifting worship services led by gifted musicians, pastors, and Bible teachers from across New England and beyond!
Throughout the week, there are multiple Bible studies, prayer groups, and times of fellowship, along with featured Saturday evening Christian concerts and informal Sunday evening gatherings in our 150-seat chapel. Special speakers and events are also offered during select weeks of the summer season. In between, guests are invited to rest, relax, and refresh while taking in the beauty of our lakeside setting with a good book or possibly taking a well deserved swim out to our floating raft while enjoying the brisk waters of Lake Winnipesaukee.
Something for Everyone
There's always something happening at Alton Bay Christian Retreat Center! Throughout the summer, guests can take part in a wide variety of events - from worship services and Christian concerts to engaging Bible studies, inspiring guest speakers, and meaningful fellowship. Families love our kids' clubs, youth gatherings, and the 5-Day Club (VBS) designed especially for children.

For those who enjoy a little friendly competition or outdoor fun, we offer basketball, volleyball, pickleball, soccer, and Saturday morning games on the common. Guests can also cool off with a swim at our private beach, enjoy free water skiing most mornings, or explore the nearby hiking, walking, and biking trails that surround our scenic lakeside grounds.
No matter your age or interest, there's always something to do - and a community of believers to share it with.
